Built by operators, for operators.
Adelo Consulting was founded on a specific frustration: healthcare organizations spend heavily on advice from people who have never carried the accountability they are advising on. We staff engagements the other way around.
The gap between the board deck and the schedule.
Healthcare has no shortage of analysis. What it lacks is advice that holds up when it meets a staffing grid, a payer contract, a survey window and a night shift on a Tuesday in February.
That gap is where most consulting engagements quietly fail. The findings are correct. The recommendations are reasonable. And nothing changes, because nobody in the room had ever had to make the recommendation work at 3 a.m. with two call-outs.
We built Adelo to close that gap — with consultants drawn from nursing leadership, hospital and department operations, quality, revenue cycle, regulatory and post-acute administration. People who have run the thing, not studied it.
The firm operates across the full healthcare spectrum, including a legal nurse consulting practice that reviews medical records for litigation. The through-line is the same in every service line: clinical and operational depth, applied by someone who has actually done the job.
“Every recommendation has to survive a Tuesday night with two call-outs. If it cannot, it is not advice — it is a slide.”
Who you will actually work with.
The people who scope an engagement are the people who deliver it. We do not sell with senior leaders and staff with analysts.

Consulting bench
Engagements are staffed from a vetted bench of nurse executives, operations leaders, quality and regulatory specialists, revenue cycle leaders and clinical subspecialists — matched to the engagement rather than to availability.
Join the bench
We are selectively adding experienced healthcare operators and clinical subspecialists to the consulting and review bench.
See how it worksIndividual consultant profiles are published only with the consultant's permission and are kept current. We do not list advisors who are not actively available for engagements.
How we handle information, conflicts and claims.
- Every engagement runs a documented conflict screen before work begins
- Consultants are bound by written confidentiality obligations that survive the engagement
- Protected health information is handled under encryption in transit and at rest, with documented retention and destruction
- Licensure is verified at primary source for every clinical consultant and re-verified annually
- We carry professional liability and cyber coverage; certificates are furnished on request
- We make no unearned certification claims and publish no client results we cannot substantiate
Insurance, certification and compliance representations on this page should be confirmed in your engagement documents. Request current certificates before contracting.
