Adelo engagements are staffed by people who have held the accountability. If you have run a department, closed a survey finding, exited an agency contract or rebuilt a broken unit, we would like to talk — whether you want full-time consulting work or occasional engagements alongside a clinical role.
Where we are adding depth
Open bench areas.
We add to the bench against real demand rather than in advance of it. That means we are honest about volume from the first conversation — including when there is not any yet.
Operations consultants
Leaders from perioperative, emergency, critical care, capacity management and ambulatory operations with a record of delivering throughput or cost results.
Quality & regulatory specialists
Survey readiness, plan of correction, CMS Conditions of Participation and accreditation experience, including immediate jeopardy response.
Revenue cycle leaders
Denials, clinical documentation integrity, utilization review and payer contracting experience on the provider side.
Clinical subspecialty reviewers
Experienced RNs in CVICU, CV OR, CV PACU, neuro ICU, MICU, SICU, rapid response, ED and med-surg for litigation record review. Subspecialty depth matters more than consulting experience.
Post-acute operators
Skilled nursing and senior living administrators and directors of nursing with survey, Five-Star and census experience.
How it works
Engagement-based, not a staffing agency.
- Most bench consultants are engaged per assignment as independent contractors, with a written scope for each engagement
- You are free to decline assignments, set your own hours and work with other clients
- Many consultants keep a clinical or executive role and take engagements alongside it
- Every assignment is conflict-screened before it is offered to you
- We specify the deliverable and the standard, not how you spend your day
- Litigation review hours count toward LNCC certification eligibility
